Last night must have felt like years of untapped potential and frustration being unleashed for Boston Celtics forward Jeff Green. Panned in the league since he couldn’t find a defined position in Oklahoma City and health setbacks, Green pretty much came into 2012 with something to prove and let it all go on Al Jefferson and the Jazz last night.

Yeah, he got a technical for taunting but the fact remains that Green got a launching pad and gave Boston fans a glimpse of what possibly could come for years to go. He’s a hybrid four, big enough to play post D on your average power forward but skillful enough to handle SFs as well. Looks like the youth infusion in Boston might make the Celtics the legit threat we presumed they would be coming out of the East.
