Beard Gone: James Harden Traded To Rockets Brandon Caldwell October 27, 2012 Sports 1 Comment What happens when you turn down a $52 million extension? You get shipped off. In a blockbuster move late Saturday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder traded 6th Man of the Year James Harden to the Houston Rockets for Kevin Martin & Jeremy Lamb according to Yahoo!’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The move also sends the Thunder’s Lazar Haywood, Cole Aldrich & Daquan Cook to Houston who in return are said to be sending future draft considerations. For the Rockets, it’s a clear move to add a little more star power to a roster that severely lacks it. Outside of Jeremy Lin, the Rockets roster holds no considerable big names on it in terms of stars. It does however hold plenty potential and with Harden now in the mix, the Rockets are once more building small in order to (hopefully) win big.
