“Be careful what you ask for, ’cause you just might get it/ I wanted you so bad, I let ya/ Have your way with me…”

I mean, fans of Marsha Ambrosius already knew that Marsha has never been one to hold her tongue when it comes to sex. Last year’s Late Nights & Early Mornings was a steamy breath of fresh air that R&B certainly needed, and it appears like Ambrosius’s sophomore solo effort – currently titled Friends & Lovers – will be just as much a dose of aural sex, especially if the album’s lead single “F*ck N Get It Over With” is any indication. Marsha A went ahead and decided to give the single the video treatment before the audio’s officially out.

With Erica D. Hayes and J. Irving handling direction for the visuals, “F*ck N Get It Over With” has Marsha acknowledging a relationship she’s in that she never saw progressing… yet she kept going along with it because of the sexing. She figures since the relationship isn’t going anywhere and she’s “over it,” it’s time to part ways. But not before proceeding to get one last session out of her lover, even recounting in the song’s bridge the many places they’ve already done it.

Why can’t more women be this honest about what they really want? Marsha Ambrosius’s Friends & Lovers is in the works.
