Eleven years ago, I was in middle school inside of my tech class when the second plane hit the World Trade Center. It felt surreal, uneasy and unnerving like any movie that hit too close to home. My tech teacher openly said aloud, “You’re now at war. This is your war.”

A decade plus, the memory of 9/11 still remains fresh on the minds of many across the country for those who’ve lost loved ones or have personal stories tired to the tragic day. Take a moment out of yours to pay respect to those that lost their lives or lost someone close on this day eleven years ago.
