We know we can’t get a handle on all the new music that comes out in a given day so we’ve neatly packaged together some of the best indie, alternative, rock, & remixed tracks you might have missed.

Diplo – Express Yourself (Gent & Jawns Remix)

Now this is what producers with skill are supposed to do; keep the ears and the mind guessing what’s next. Not that Diplo isn’t more than qualified to carry his own weight, it is nice to hear something that we believe is the best in a different light; more specifically “Express Yourself” in Gent & Jawns light. Between the heavy sub bass, synths, and snares, it is amazing how below the radar this revamp is.

Everything Everything – Cough Cough

The four piece Manchester UK derived Everything Everything has made their return, a bit more confident in their sound this time around. In light of their new LP Arc, due to be released January 2013, they’ve decided to give us a little water to hold us over with “Cough Cough.” Jonathan Higgs’ gruff falsetto layered on top of the well orchestrated crew keep the senses lingering for the release at the top of the year.

El Perro Del Mar – Walk On By (Radio Edit)

Sweden’s finest Sara Assbring, formally known as El Perro Del Mar, announces her follow up to 2009’s Love Is Not Pop and releases the audio for the track “Walk On By.” This 90’s dance style track, accompanied by her soft smooth vocals, definately has proven simplicity can be beautiful as well. Pale Fire debuts November 13 in North America via the Control Group.

Mr. Sly – Ghost

There isn’t much dirt on this character, but this song it too enticing to not post. All that there is out there in the media about this character is that he may be from somewhere in southern California, but Mr. Sly seems to still pop his head in at the most opportune times. The track “Ghost” is definitely well constructed, from its drags to its synthesized elements, which is why it has made this morning’s lineup. Certainly worth listening to.

Madeon – The City

Eighteen year old French producer, Madeon has certainly made a name for himself as the DJ phenom dousing the world in his euphoric dance sound. Following the likes of fellow Frenchman Daft Punk, he certainly is showing no signs of slowing with the release of “The City,” featuring the soulful vocals of Kick Kick Snare‘s  Zak Waters as well as the pipes of Cass Lowe. It is believed by many that this kid has more potential than he is displaying, but to be quite frank, he is quite mainstream and that will take him far.

STAL – We Are Two (Alcala Remix)

Breaking away from his band days, Pierre-Marie Maulini embarks on his new project STAL, shadowing Patrick Walsh to help fine tune his synthesizer and keybording skills. His epic rock energy, laced with electronica and ambience elements release so much energy in his works, including “We Are Two.” Alcala gives us his spin, flipping it into an atmospheric outer space experience.

Bon Iver – Towers (Jonathan Lee Remix)

Not that Bon Iver‘s tracks are anything but unique, in light of his remix challenge, Jonathan Lee remixes “Towers,” giving it an atmospheric feel. There are only so many things you can say about a person taking a swing at a remix challenge, but I have elaborated on them all so… just listen.

The Temper Trap – Sweet Disposition

As one of those tracks that get constantly raped by producers to try and get their take on a track, The Temper Trap‘s “Sweet Disposition” finally gets to shine alone, noting it can carry its own weight. Although this track was released back 2008, lead singer Dougy Mandagi‘s noteworthy falsetto voice stains memory tracks enough to gradually build in our minds as the song builds literally.
