Before I hyperventilate, let’s get to the facts first. It’s been six years since Justin Timberlake conquered R&B with FutureSex/LoveSounds and since 2008 at least fans have been calling, damn near begging for a new LP from him. That wait may possibly be over according to Digital Spy who are reporting that JT is back in the studio. Frequent Timbaland collaborator Jim Beanz mentioned the album in an interview stating, “When I get back to the States I’m going to be helping out on Shock Value 3 with Timbaland and the Justin Timberlake project. It’s still in the early stages, but they have a lot of tracks. While I’ve been over here in the UK they’ve been working, so by the time I get back they’ll have a whole load of ideas and I’m going to have to catch up!”

Now, begin breathing fast and fanning yourself, America.

UPDATE 2:30 ET | Not True, says Justin Timberlake’s publicist, who tells Billboard there are no plans for a new album. The rep says Timberlake is currently in Puerto Rico, filming a movie. [via Billboard]
