Yuuup, the rumors are true. NFL Network and FOX Sports Insider Jay Glazer broke the news earlier on twitter.

While the terms haven’t quite been solidified yet, Terrell Owens worked out for the Seattle Seahawks and managed to put on an impressive enough showing at tryouts – including running the 40 at 4.45 seconds, no small feat for someone who’s not only been out of the league since 2010, but 38 years old, as well – to be offered a contract. A brief stint in Cincinnati (as part of the Batman-Robin tandem with Chad “Ocho Cinco” Johnson) and, following a forced retirement from the NFL, a briefer stint with the Allen Wranglers – coupled with the now-infamous footage of T.O. crying broke – no doubt had caused many to write Owens off. T.O. apparently wasn’t about to let himself go out like that, though.

We’ll save the “Don’t call it a comeback” comments until we actually see results but umm… let’s say lowkey, given that the Seahawks aren’t exactly loaded in terms of reception weapons, Owens might be a late round consideration for fantasy football folk. Just putting that out there.
