Danny Brown will never properly be conceptualized for mainstream America. That helium style rap vocal tone of his is by and large a trademark of things that shall never, ever be compromised. That and I honestly believe a song about Brat Pack goddess Molly Ringwald will register with every fan of DB since not only does he poke fun of Cher and raps in such a cartoonish yet wildly believable context that you can’t help but plaster him on your list as one of the brightest spots Detroit has offered in the past decade rap wise. Oh, and AraabMuzik did the beat here, sort of trap meets twisted circus delight. I think Molly approves while doing that table dance from The Breakfast Club to it.
