Money In The Brees: Saints, QB Agree To 5-Year, $100 Million Deal Brandon Caldwell July 13, 2012 Sports In a motion of not only good public relations but quite possibly the smartest move the Saints could have made, the organization and prized quarterback Drew Brees have reportedly reached an agreement on a 5-year, $100 million contract that will keep Brees in New Orleans for possibly the rest of his career. The deal includes $60 million of it guaranteed and a record $40 million in the 2012 season alone.
