Do you want to knock how grown adults in the age of social media react when their prized mediums such as Instagram, Netflix, Pintrest & Blackberry Messenger all go down? Pretty much like someone whose gotten wind that the world might be over.

Thanks to violent thunderstorms in the Virginia area around 11:21 EST last night, three of the world’s most used items for streaming movies & TV, taking pictures with fancy filters and sharing cool things went down last night and for the most part haven’t come back. The storms knocked out Amazon’s Elastic Compute Cloud which runs many websites and services, including the trio which the world has become so dependent on.

Sadly, Instagram users who want to share what they’re having for Saturday morning breakfast are now left with a void, unable to make a bowl of cereal look like the Sistine Chapel.
