Unlike most in his section, Delo isn’t continually pushing out records for mass consumption and hoping one of them turns into a hit or a “look”. Instead the Mo City native has calculated his Hood Politics releases (even the screwed up third version), each one garnering more attention than the next to let the demand be created audibly. Hence Delo giving us either a gift or a warning with his newest mixtape Mucho Caliente. Containing little to no features aside from “SodaWater” with E.S.G., Paul Wall & Big Sant & “This Is It” with Killa Kyleon, Mucho finds Delo exhibiting the same traits which have made him a burgeoning name in the city and beyond. Leaving Meek Mill’s “Lean Wit It”, Kanye West’s “Hell Of A Life” and other beats at his disposal might be like giving LeBron a free pass to the lane. Fourteen tracks, all new Delo, all material you can learn before his headlining show at Warehouse Live on July 1st.
