Put it like this, there’s nothing else on TV that’s going to catch your eye until the Olympics arrive on July 20th (or if you’re wondering whether or not HBO’s new show The Newsroom will pop off). Seeing that the days are like this, why not spend an hour of your time watching this documentary “Prince: The Glory Years”, chronicling his troubling early rise in the 70s to his rise in the 80s & 90s. Since the doc is missing Prince himself, it allows a completely ego free narrative to be told, from his eccentrics to his idiosyncrasies, the stories behind some of his biggest hits and more. By the way, the audio does get out of sync so there’s another version for your viewing pleasure, although it’s watermarked.
