Question Of The Day: What Is The Greatest Michael Jackson Song? Brandon Caldwell June 25, 2012 Features 5 Comments There are two things I’m going to remember about June 25, 2009. First, the site was really in its infancy and pretty much the biggest story going was Michael Jackson’s untimely demise. Second, I was on probation and after the passing of the King Of Pop, the R&B station in Houston transformed itself into the Michael Jackson station for at least a week solid. Nothing but MJ/Jackson 5 material. Which leads me to this simple question. What is Michael Jackson’s greatest song? I’ll leave that up to you guys in the comment section below. Will say my personal fav is “The Lady In My Life”! Reply Andrea Brown June 25, 2012 This is hard simply because his music crosses so many genres. Can’t choose just one. My favorite jam is “Beat It”, just because it feels like “Bad”, but with a touch of rock & roll added to it. It’s like the beat has a mind of its own. My favorite sentimental song is “You Are Not Alone” because you can apply that to any # of occasions. My favorite romance song is “You Rock My World” because that’s our generation’s “Rock With You”, in my opinion. And, my favorite political song is, of course, “Scream” because it feels good to listen to. That’s really how a lot of people feel when tons of bad news comes their way. Reply BrandoC June 25, 2012 For me its either “Human Nature” or “Another Part Of Me”. Although “Stranger In Moscow” is tough… Reply Cynbad69 June 27, 2012 My favorite misinterpreted song is “Thriller” the video was the perfect way to desexualize the song. That nigga was telling us then how he gets down, and by golly, I got it! Dude was like ” it’s close to midnight and something evil’s lurking in the dark/under the moonlight you see a sight that almost stops your heart…WHAT? Does he mean he’s holdin bout to put it down! Go Michael! Go Michael! Relisten sexually…that man was a genius! Nowadays lyrics lack imagination they just straight up explicit…what a shame! RIP KING MICHAEL…I STILL LOVE YOU!
