In few short years, the lives of Kareem “Biggs” Burke & Jimmy Henchman have been turned upside down due to their actions not even in relation to the music industry. Biggs, the former Roc-A-Fella executive who alongside Jay-Z & Damon Dash made the Roc a household name was sentenced to 5 years in prison for his role in a marijuana smuggling scheme. He pled guilty this past March as he was among 50 people arrested in what the police call “Operation Green Venom”.

The news however isn’t as “sweet” for Henchman whose name has been mentioned in some of the shadiest deals in hip-hop history, including the shooting of Tupac Shakur. The former CEO of Czar Entertainment was found guilty earlier today of all 13 counts stemming from his trial over a drug smuggling empire that stretched from New York to California. Henchman is facing a life sentence.

In Biggs case, it’s sort of sad to see a man who was the silent one in the Roc Triangle offense find a demise as petty. With Dame in financial woes and Hov seeing more green backs then ever, no one but those three know what really occurred for them to all split from their respective perches.

As far as Henchman goes, maybe 2Pac had it right in “Against All Odds” and that some how with the help of karma, things would happen to Jimmy no matter what. A year ago, Dexter Issac the presumed trigger man in Pac’s Quad City shooting did say he had some damming information regarding that matter.
