The new “anti-hero” of Detroit pays homage to it’s most noted figure who sadly is no longer with us. With Dilla’s production and original vinyl comfortably in the care of his mother (rumor had it to be sold to somewhere, unlike DJ Screw’s original which has a museum dedication), another posthumous album of Dilla’s is set to be rolled out with Danny’s high pitched vulgarity leading the way on “Jay Dee’s Revenge”. It’s smooth as you would expect as the new Dilla will be found on Rebirth of Detroit due in June.
