Earlier this AM, rumors emerged from the Bayou Music Center (formerly Verizon Wireless Theater) about Rick Ross and his scheduled performance. After opener Ace Hood finished his set, it was time for the Boss to go on. According to sources at the venue, Ross and the show promoters Real Uprizing were at odds over Ross’ money for the performance. They refused to pay and instead told the swelling crowd that Ross had suffered a “seizure” and would not be performing.

Fans were heated, upset and took to Twitter and other social media to try and get to the bottom of the situation. When the “seizure” rumor died down as nothing emerged to support the promoters claim but DJ Big Tho who spun behind the wheels at the concert eventually broke the news.

Janky promoters, who somehow had enough bread for Ace Hood but not the headliner? Wow.
