When it dropped in 2010, the original Ciroc Confessions played like your standard mixtape from a rapper with a very large boulder on his shoulder. Nevermind a chip, King Rashee plays around with beats and concepts the same way a ball player is found in the gym working on his game day in and day one. With fan response reaching the point of “leave voicemails on artists phone demanding a release”, Ciroc Confessions 2 arrives to fanfare while flanked by a host of names including Leo Solomon, L.E.$., Rob Smallz and production from Young KT, K.Carter & Chase N. Cashe.

Rashee follows a similar template to CC1 with a few dips and trends elsewhere, most notably his selection of rhyming over a mixture of industry productions as well as originals. “R&B Diva” with Propain & Marcus Manchild doesn’t relegate him to second place, not at all when catering to females but the template is already set from the moment Big K.R.I.T.’s “Money On The Floor” plays background for CC2’s “Intro”. Buttery smooth in his delivery and tone, Rashee finds himself at a comfort. Where fellow BDBO member Hoodstar Chantz exhibits the sort of flair reserved for gorrila pimpin’, Rashee is easier to digest, the sort of rhyme purveyor made from the mold of Big Daddy Kane & to a small extent, Pimp C.
