Today is a big day for Massillon and it’s favorite bearded son. It’s almost criminal not to mention Stalley with his most noticeable accessory but as Intelligent Trunk Music proved last year, his ear for production and sharp introspection can cause a few ripples and stares outside of his facial hair. This is where Savage Journey To The American Dream picks up, right around the crashing cymbals and triumphant horns closed out ITM.
First off, Stalley’s going to be scrutinized a hell of a lot more on this go round than the last on the heels of his Maybach Music signing, aligning himself with the Block Beattaz for the bulk of the production duties and aptly finding himself in more silky & visible skin. He can maintain the appetite of a blue collar gang member but with that emblem behind him and Rick Ross playing a vital part in his future success, he’s making certain the work on the tape supersedes anything done outside of the booth.
Curren$y, Meek Mill, Rozay & Wale all made noticeable contributions to the tape, same for Chad Hugo, Chuck Inglish & Soundtrakk but the man of the hour likes his Chevy’s sitting high and the bass turned to a high level. Time to get back in the whip with Ohio’s own.
