The Associated Press is reporting that Whitney Houston, the troubled singer and one of the more recognizable figures upon tabloids has passed at the age of 48. The cause of death has not been determined. Houston, known for her role in the film The Bodyguard as well as her songs “I Will Always Love You”, “Saving All My Love”, “Heartbreak Hotel” and for her rendition of the “Star-Spangled Banner” has faced troubles in recent years following her divorce from Bobby Brown as well as drug addiction.
