The Night Will Ferrell Gave The Greatest Pre-Game Announcements Ever Brandon Caldwell February 9, 2012 Sports 1 Comment Will Ferrell and basketball are synonymous with things such as funny, outrageous and at times “André 3000 enough” to go over with the general public. Since the New Orleans Hornets are rather drab since they traded away Chris Paul to the Clippers, the team held “’80s Night” at the Arena last night and let the spirit of Jackie Moon right in there with them. Sure, the game was a laugher as the visiting Chicago Bulls drubbed the Hornets by 23, 90-67 but the highlight was Ferrell giving the starting lineups for each squad, all from saying the obvious about Joakim Noah (he’s a Scorpio & a terrible dancer) to listing The Notebook as Derrick Rose’s favorite movie. The jab he made at the Hornets center from Mexico is absolute gold.
