A Kirko mixtape always tends to shock those who try to pigeonhole Kirk Randle as some sort of pretty boy emcee who’ll gladly take your chick. He’ll do that but he’ll also tend to put out a few hidden gems here and there with some actual bars. Progression 2: A Young Texas Playa finds Kirko mixing both of his good traits over syncopated production and a few common instrumentals you may easily pick out from their opening chords. With Paul Wall being the only feature, it’s all Kirko here, highlighting Bangz infectious flow and ear for beats.
