Mike Posner let loose this recent visual treatment for “Looks Like Sex,” one of the cuts off Posner’s late 2011 release The Layover. Contrary to what its title would imply, the video is actually very much suitable for work, although I’d be lying if I said the opening shot of a woman in a tiled room draped in a colorful blanket effectively prepares you for what’s to come.

Posner admittedly could have just brought it just a little harder on the track, but the “Looks Like Sex” is all but club ready, with its narrative about spotting that one woman in the club who, well, you just want to do “something” with at first sight. The music video at the least certainly provides copious shots of long-legged ladies and some interesting plays on color, with a mostly black-and-white palette occasionally interrupted with tinges of pink, blue, and yellow in various shots.
