In the third episode of Tony Williams’ “Road To King Or The Fool” series, the long time crooner takes us back to 2005 and his work on Kanye West’s Late Registration LP. Thought to be the “soundtrack of Katrina” as my friends would put it (It was my senior year of HS when LR dropped), the album touched on a number of subjects from the whimsical opener of “Heard ‘Em Say” to the boastful and triumphant “We Major” with Really Doe & Nas. Oh, and that now legendary Tony Williams shout.

Tony doesn’t leave any good story untold as he recants on how Brandy almost had no words for “Bring Me Down”, the back and forth inclusion of Patti Labelle on “Roses” and more. King Or The Fool drops on February 14th.
