It’s true, Kirko Bangz’ “Drank In My Cup” is the double stacked audio embodiment of the phrase “guilty pleasure”. Pulling together SoundMob’s syncopated mix of drums and keys allow Bangz and his sing-song raps to flourish in a way that make it hard to hate on him. The Houston Oiler derrick rests comfortably on his neck, a symbol of where he’s from and the song does little to change that.

Although, we have to begin the question. Who’s the chick starring at the 1:56 mark? She’s from Houston right? Or she took the time out to fly out for the video, right Mr. Boomtown? Either way it goes, she won here. She and the males who want to hate Kirko but can’t thanks to his thick bitty co-star.
