Aside from possibly Paris, no single artist in the game has made revolution and politics his main topic of choice more than Immortal Technique. Armed to the teeth with enough prose to support an #occupy movement as well as batter emcees, Tech has built a career off values and principles right in line with the militant poets of decades previous.

Watching him work on his latest free album The Martyr and its evident why Tech has his space in the game. He’s got cuts with the likes of Chuck D, Cornell West, dead prez, Styles P, Joell Ortiz, Brother Ali & more littered over production from J Dilla & Tech himself. It’s a revolutionary tape with a mix of fan favorites and others all with the intent to educate and dispel the notion that rap is merely b*tches and chains.

Also, Tech will be joined by Mike & Chino XL for a tour starting tonight in Syracuse, NY and ending in Portland, OR on December 1st. Given the fact that Mike has a perfect balance between fiery pulpit preaching and casual rap tunes, it’s the easiest fit for a tour of this magnitude.

See sidebar or hit the jump to see the tour dates. If you’re in Houston, Technique and company will be at Fitzgerald’s on November 12th, at Tree’s in Dallas on the 13ths, Emo’s in Austin on the 14th & Club 101 in El Paso on November 16th. – Brando
