Earlier today, Common dropped another leak from his upcoming effort The Dreamer, The Believer, entitled “Blue Sky.” The Dreamer’s second single following the Nas-assisted collab “Ghetto Dreams” released earlier this year, “Blue Sky” features a No I.D.-produced beat that opens with a police siren and proceeds into something street orchestral-like. Lyrically, it sounds like the Common of old is back – as opposed to the non-Sense-ical Common that was on Universal Mind Control - bringing it with nice puns and storytelling. Here’s hoping the rest of the album will sound this way too. The Dreamer, The Believer drops November 22nd.
