Bobby Ray‘s gearing up to release his sophomore album and if it’s anything like his debut smash, it will be littered with Top 40 singles and spaced out guitar work. “Strange Clouds” featuring everybody’s favorite gangbanging skateboarder lies on distorted synths and B.o.B actually rapping with a sense of urgency behind him, as if we discounted his abilities on a microphone. I still remember the days when a Lil Wayne verse didn’t sound like another Lil Wayne verse but that croaky laugh coupled with a few metaphors about a skinny yellow chick (#2 pencil) tells me what Tha Carter IV already told me, a mailed in Weezy verse will still pick up a few ears, regardless of quality.
