Upcoming Tours: Tech N9ne – The Lost Cities Tour Brandon Caldwell September 21, 2011 Events, News 2 Comments If you know nothing about Tech N9ne and why his name constantly keeps coming up on the radar of your favorite hip-hop blog/website/etc. it’s simple – Tech takes what your average indie darling does (release mixtapes, do a few shows) and expands it on an entirely different level. His Strangeland music imprint is owned by him and every thing he does usually winds up in house. Meaning he has his own merchandise, can set up his own tours and release his own music without having to second guess himself. In the end, a Tech N9ne release without much national promotion can be sold for about $18.98 (his last “mixtape” sold 50,000 copies), earn in between $20K to $40K for live performances (40-date tours) and wind up in the end wielding profits of about $2.2 million bucks give or take the math. I say all that to say this: the game’s most successful indie darling is heading on tour with stops in Houston on October 4th at House of Blues included. Don’t sleep on the “Mental Giant”. 09.29 – Lawrence, KS – The Granada 09.30 – Slater, MO – Slater Football Stadium 10.01 – Oklahoma City, OK – Diamond Ballroom 10.02 – Dallas, TX – House of Blues – Dallas 10.04 – Houston, TX – House of Blues – Houston 10.06 – San Antonio, TX – Back Stage Live 10.07 – Austin, TX – Emo’s 10.09 – Farmington, NM – The Top Deck 10.10 – Tempe, AZ – Marquee Theatre 10.11 – Flagstaff, AZ – Orpheum Theater 10.12 – Tucson, AZ – The Rialto Theatre 10.13 – San Diego, CA – House of Blues – San Diego 10.14 – West Hollywood, CA – The Roxy 10.16 – Anaheim, CA – The Grove Of Anaheim 10.18 – San Luis Obispo, CA – Downtown Brewing Company (SLO Brew) 10.20 – Ventura, CA – The Majestic Ventura Theatre 10.22 – Bakersfield, CA – The Bakersfield Dome 10.23 – Santa Clara, CA – The Avalon 10.24 – Sacramento, CA – Ace Of Spades 10.25 – San Francisco, CA – The Regency Ballroom 10.26 – Chico, CA – The Senator Theater 10.27 – Medford, OR – Medford Armory 10.28 – Eugene, OR – The Hult Center for the Performing Arts 10.29 – Bend, OR – Midtown Music Hall 10.30 – Portland, OR – Roseland Theater 11.01 – Kennewick, WA – Toyota Center 11.02 – Wenatchee, WA – Town Toyota Center 11.03 – Spokane, WA – Knitting Factory – Spokane 11.04 – Seattle, WA – The Showbox SoDo 11.05 – Missoula, MT – The Wilma 11.06 – Boise, ID – Knitting Factory – Boise 11.09 – Magna, UT – Saltair 11.10 – Casper, WY – The Venue 11.11 – Denver, CO – The Summit Music Hall (16+) 11.12 – Denver, CO – The Fillmore Auditorium (16+) 11.13 – Rapid City, SD – Dublin (18+) 11.15 – Fargo, ND – The Venue 11.16 – Bemidji, MN – Sanford Center Ballroom 11.17 – Minneapolis, MN – Epic Event Center 11.18 – Bloomington, IL – The Castle Theatre 11.19 – Kansas City, MO – The Midland Theatre Share this:TweetShare on Tumblr
