Killa Kyleon has been known for a minute. You know this, we know this. The H-Town Rocket has been everywhere from Boss Hogg Outlaw to his own AMG and now that he’s his own man, he’s expanded in spotlight while also slimming down for the marathon aspect of hip-hop.

Candy Paint & Texas Plates 2 doesn’t feel like the original tape in the slightest. All of the tracks save for three freestyles are original cuts and Killa’s versatility is on full display. There’s the tape closer “Letter To Pimp C” where Kyleon does everything in his power to create a eulogy succinct enough to bring the Pimp back, noted first single “Make Me” with crooner Jack Freeman that feels like a summertime anthem & more. Rounding out the features and production on CPTP2 is an all-star cast from Trakksounds, Big K.R.I.T., Lex Luger, DJ Don, CyFyre, Doughbeezy, Bun B, Mac Miller & more.

In terms of diversity, it’s Killa’s best tape, filled with enough above the head wordplay and quotables from one of the Lone Star State’s most underrated and finest. Grab the tape below & peep the tracklist here or after the jump.
