What Lockout? Kevin Durant Goes For 66 At The Rucker
The NBA Lockout is now at least a month old but that hasn’t stopped plenty of ballers to exercise various options of playing in 2011. While Deron Williams and his wave grease will be hitting jumpers in Turkey, Oklahoma City Thunder star (and recent inductee to the “Who Knew He Was Tatted” club) Kevin Durant found himself in New York City’s famed Rucker Park for the first time.
Durant put on a show scoring 66 points including four consecutive three pointers (up top to close) to an absolutely insane crowd last night. All of this makes me believe that if funded properly, NBA talent would immediately go for street ball in NYC’s legendary Rucker League. Who wouldn’t pay to see that?
