Around twelve years ago, Eminem & Royce Da 5’9″ were the Detroit version of Nas & AZ, showing up on each others respective tracks with the intent to destroy production with blitzkrieg precision and bars you wouldn’t dare play to your middle school class. The two conceived the original “Renegade” before Jay-Z hijacked the song for his Blueprint album and then the two went through a rift period that finally saw them find peace a couple of years ago.

Now that Royce and his Slaughterhosue co-horts are on Em’s label, the reunion of the two could have been projected from the moment the ink dried on the piece of paper. Yes, Bad Meets Evil has an EP planned to be released on June 14th entitled Hell: The Sequel with nine original tracks including one “featuring” Mike Epps.

“I’m On Everything” merely samples one of Epps comedy specials while Em & Royce wrap various anecdotes about smoking with Donovan McNabb and a million other drugs, showing that while Eminem is clean and sober, his rhyme book clearly isn’t and is capable of going off the deep end back into Slim Shady mode whenever he feels like it.
