To explain Woodkid, you first have to understand Yonan Lemoine. Under one guise, he’s an award winning director of music videos, short films and commercials. Under another, he’s an artist who brings all of his video expertise into his visuals and the one for “Iron” is no different.

With a strong black & white technique held together by the song’s tribal drums and mighty horn section, it’s clear why certain talents are asked to broaden their spectrums to cover damn near anything. The power of Lemoine’s eye should parlay into some serious work, especially for those who happens to have a budget and an idea to create something epic. As the words around the internets say, maybe a certain duo who promised a Throne Watching EP look into Woodkid’s services.
