All roads to Austin start in Houston this year in terms of SXSW plans. For fans of both Blu & J*DaVeY, it’s also a road that could lead to a momentous occasion. In short, Blu is one of the West Coast most elusive artists, sparringly dropping great material here and there but never coming through with a full album (we don’t mind it though). J*DaVeY on the other hand have been making funky tunes with the likes of 88-Keys and more, recently releasing their Evil Christian Cop EP along with a classic cover of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit”.

Both West Coast musicians will be at the esteemed Groundhall on March 15th with quite the stacked line up from The Niceguys, alternative group MANTIS, buzzmaking Houston rapper Doughbeezy, T.H.E.M. affiliate John Dew & Ro-Spit. Tickets are only $15 presale and then $20 at the door. Sponsored by the great minds at Hater Magazine, TPiperMedia, Frank151, Tone Def Radio and I’m sure your favorite dream squad’ll have some sort of involvement.
