Squashed: 9th Wonder & Phonte End Their Feud Brandon Caldwell January 2, 2011 News Beef between friends is always the worst. Thankfully to start the new year, one of the worst beefs between Phonte & 9th Wonder was finally settled, in a southern way no less. Does it mean we’re getting new music from the collective formerly known as Little Brother? Not likely says Phonte. We may collaborate in time, but this is not the start of a LB reunion as neither of us have interest in doing so. Sorry to disappoint. — Phonte (@phontigallo) January 2, 2011 Our friendship began as Phonte Coleman and Patrick Douthit long before a 'LB' or '9th Wonder' existed. This was about rebuilding that bond. — Phonte (@phontigallo) January 2, 2011 For the fans, it’s a moral victory. Its debatable whether the appreciation for Little Brother became greater one they disbanded as a trio and that their respective solo success contributes to the legacy they left. Whatever the case may be, as a fan I’m happy I was around to appreciate Little Brother when they were together and can still hold on to those albums, mixtapes, etc. Share this:TweetShare on Tumblr Leave a Reply Cancel Reply Your email address will not be published.CommentName* Email* Website Notify me of follow-up comments by email.
