Before blowing up and re-creating Roc-A-Fella Records with Damon Dash, before the guys over at 1515 came calling, probably before you jumped on the back of the JETS bandwagon, Curren$y the Hot Spitta had a goal in mind in 2008 – to over-saturate the blog scene with a monthly mixtape series (7 tapes in all). That foundation laid then was the groundwork for countless singles, group projects, XXL Freshman nominations, potential group collaborations and well – starting off your Twitter day with the phrase “waketh & baketh”.
