Lil’ Wayne – No Ceilings (Mixtape) [Official]
October 31, 2009 in Mixtapes
Wait, I already did this? Oh yeah, that was the leak. Haha. The only difference between then and now would be four tracks, bumping the overall track total to 21 and for what it’s worth, I still appreciate the mixtape, even if too many folks are throwing it up as their FB statuses.
Also, this whole Game doing 4 mixtapes in a week shit has officially soured my mood on anybody dropping a bunch of mixtapes in a quick period. I blame Crooked I & Wayne’s work ethic on this one. Just because I heard somebody jack the D.O.A. beat and rip that shit to shreds doesn’t mean you get a free pass in trying your hand at it. Because lost in all of this is actual quality music. Hell, Soulja Boy did this shit today even and it flopped harder than him getting all those tattoos thinking it was a bright ass idea.
Also, I refuse to sit down and listen to a possible 1,200 name drops from Jayceon. Does he say anything dope without mentioning anybody else? Like a metaphor of his own creation that didn’t involve another person’s name?
Ugh, rant over – let’s get back to the music. Update your iTunes accordingly tomorrow.
