Sunday Wrap-Up [Vol. 7]

Yep. Mike still got it.

Granted, this should have been up on Sunday (since it is the weekly wrap-up) but things happen such as life that you can’t necessarily deal with and some things have to be put off.

However, voicing an opinion on Brett Favre being a bitch isn’t one of them – that is second nature to him – no matter what football team, what time of day or what angle the sun is directed. He is without a doubt, the biggest drama queen/cry baby/bitch with a man’s name I have ever seen. I swear before all things great and Holy. Anyway, what do you get when you mix 36 hours of work, 19.5 between Saturday & Sunday alone, 3 1/2 hours of sleep, half a bottle of 5 hour energy, a trip to the hospital, terrible parking & a movie that reminds you of how fucked up one sided relationships can be?

My weekend.

Here are some things to remember from the past week.

Put it like this, I absolutely refuse to put anything on Facebook, especially knowing that some people may get offended by what I may say. So to mention the girl who told on her boss, the study on relationships, breaking up over statues, poking, and even tagging pictures when the date could be wrong (I’m looking at you B. Maxwell) & even releasing the worse known information on a social network site – all of these should be a notice to what you say and what you don’t say on Facebook, or any site period. You’ve got to understand that some people will go out of their way to easily piss you off or easily expose you – so watch what you say!

Aside from Facebook almost taking over the entire week, there was more to know about even knowing what to and what not to do when working a retail job. If you’ve ever worked retail, or still work in the self service business where 30 minute lunches are the main source of the day you look forward to besides leaving – then those rules are for you. But also in life, it’s probably best NOT to piss somebody off when it concerns chicken, or milk for your cereal for that matter. I didn’t think food meant that much to people, then I remember all those nights I’ve gone to a fast food joint and they get the order wrong – or tell you there isn’t any in their own special ways. Oh, and apparently Pepa from Salt ‘N Pepa is a little miffed at her man selection back in the day when she could have been with Will Smith. Apparently he wasn’t her type. She just wishes she’d get her back blown out like this.

Props to Mike Vick for getting back in the league, even if it’s with the Eagles. I’m a bit of an NFL fan (I still root for the Titans & the Pats) and it’s glad to see Mike back. However, the left wing nuts over at PETA however can suck a mean one. I’m serious. You can’t deny a man a job just because he did some foul things and has served his time. Seriously, where’s the outrage for Donte Stallworth, since he actually killed somebody? Instead the folks at PETA cherish dog life over human life. Ugh. And Mike steady apologizin’ for what he’s done – saying the right things to appease these people. Meh, only way they’ll really accept you is if you lead the Eagles to a Super Bowl, Mike. I’m just sayin’.

In YouTube news, A.I. (the one STILL in Philly), Mo Williams, KD & Rashard Lewis went throwback with the five finger rings and bad haircuts for Nike (who continues to produce some awesome ads & commercials). Nothing could come close to Bill Cosby getting tested in tap dancing or Benny Hinn beating blessing some folks with his jacket or even trying to play catch with your ass and I mean pun intended. And for some reason Seth MacFarlane decided to drop dime on my favorite character from Family Guy. Ain’t that a bitch

But, I also have some bad news to report. Financially, I was out 200 bucks thanks to fixing my car (first time in a while) and then hit with some odd news from Sunday while I was at work. Apparently before my mom was supposed to go to church, my dad felt faint and she found him sweating a storm. Mind you it was less than 80 degrees air conditioned in the house. So, she checked his blood pressure and come to find out, it was 64/63 which is not good – at all. She called 911 for him and he’s been in the hospital ever since. Put it like this, even the doctors can’t figure out what caused his pressure to go that low. He’s been doing better and I’ll go visit him today before I head to work but that’s been weighing on my mind for a few days and caused me to not really be talkative or even be open about it. I hate hospitals and dislike them even more when family is involved.

Before that, I had only gotten 3 hours of sleep thanks to a crazy party (no drinking on my part, yet a good game of Taboo), driving a friend to IAH (and getting back at 5) and then work. Thank God for whoever invented 5-hour energy. Although three consecutive nightmares when asleep between Friday and last night doesn’t help matters.

Musically, we got the Clipse, Biz Markie, Ludacris, Sting & The Police, Michael Jackson (when don’t I give you new/old MJ?) Anita Baker, Curtis Mayfield & Mayer Hawthorne. Hopefully I’ll have a better week, well for my Dad’s sake anyway.
